This set-up Tal is runnig has me thinking how I can rig-up something similar. My only problem is that I am not sure there is reliable stuff out there to be bought.

Wireless Keyboard and Mouse for gaming.....Is this an oxymoron or is there stuff out there that will not jeopardize performance?

Also, does anyone know what kind of lag I would get if any for running a monitor over a 30 ft DVI cable? My TV has a DVI input, do I really need a DVI to HDMI cable for HD?

Gotcha, Tal...anyone have some recommendations?

1) Wireless KB/Mouse
I've been using a wireless Logitech G7 mouse for the past year and I don't have any problems playing cod4 or other games with it even through 2 thick concrete walls.

2) DVI/HDMI
If your TV has a DVI in then you just need a regular DVI cable, no need for DVI to HDMI.

3) 30 feet problem (price / picture / lag)

You won't get any lag

Price....Hmmm,

- MonoPrice.com 35 ft. DVI for approx. $42
OR
- Monster Cable 40ft. DVI for approx. $250

Digital cable is the one area where more expensive doesn't mean better, go with monoprice.com, I buy all my cables there and since it's digital there's no need for worrying about shielding or interference as there's plenty of adequate shielding on the monoprice ones. The only thing is since its 30+ feet, you might get some lemon cable and get some weird glittery effect but those are like one in a thousand cases and you can always exchange the cable.

I haven't tried, but I can't see why one wouldn't work as well as a wireless mouse. That being said, I didn't like the mx1000 mouse I tried at home.

I once purchased a piece of furniture which described itself using language similar to Tal's keyboard ("Refined, minimalist design: Laser cut from a single, semi-translucent piece of black Plexiglas® and set into a brushed-aluminum frame, the diNovo Edge keyboard makes a bold statement in the office or the living room." but the delivery people refused to install it b/c my house wasn't feng shui enough.
